This office building was in need of a thorough renovation. Bentvelsen Fleer Architects were commissioned to design the renovation. Because the building has several roof terraces, we were approached to develop a plan for their layout. The roofs are spread across several floors. The entrance, located on the roof of the parking garage, features wide borders of flowering plants, giving the entrance a welcoming appearance. The other roofs are designed as terraces and a roof garden. Long planters along the edges of the roof, planted with privet hedges and ornamental grasses, give the terraces a private feel. Large, round planters divide the space.
